Task:

Godiva enlisted Chess Tag to plan and implement a campaign celebrating National Day in the UAE store.

Process:

To maximize engagement and create fun around the Godiva brand, we created a photo contest on social media. Godiva fans could post a photo of a Godiva product showcasing popular UAE landmarks using the hashtag #GodivaInUAE.

Chess worked with influencers to help promote the campaign and get the word out. The contest prize was a large size Signature Godiva gold box.

Results:

The contest posts received 2 million impressions and over 100 people submitted photos for the contest. Godiva’s Instagram following increased by 500 fans.
